    • Learning Objectives

      1. Understand and practice how to manipulate the TEE probe.
      2. Learn about imaging planes and how they relate to cardiac structures and anatomic planes.
      3. Be able to identify the appropriate level and probe position/multiplane angle for obtaining standard images.
      4. Recognize some of the basic views and understand their usefulness in assessing cardiac function.
